It allows a person to evaluate color sample under different light sources, artificial daylight, filament light, ultra violet light and tube light TL 84 (tri-phosphor fluorescent light). The use of multiple light sources is the only way to detect metamerism when samples appear to match less than one light source is the only way to distinctly different under another. Color matching is the universally preferred choice for faster, closer and accurate color matching of samples.
