DIAL TYPE MICROMETER

Dial-Type-Micrometer

MODEL NO- ML-009

DESCRIPTION:

A dial type micrometer consisting of a circular graduated dial and a pointer actuated by a member that contacts with the part being calibrated.

Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that can then be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot.

FEATURES:

  • Retractable anvil with indicator
  • IP54 level protection
  • Supplied with fitted plastic case

SPECIFICATION:

The Dial Indicating Micrometer features a retractable anvil with indicator for three-wire measurements of pitch diameter of precision screws and parallelism measurements. Includes IP54 level protection, supplied in a fitted plastic case and has carbide tipped measuring faces. This model has a measuring range of 0-1″.
